Was frightened by the reviews and expected much worse. But we actually liked the place. The room was spacious enough, clean and nice. We were busy the whole day and were back only to stay overnight. But we have everything for tea at the room. Yes, the walls aren't sound prouf but we were lucky to have very quiet neighbours. The carpet wasn't new but it was clean. There is no breakfast in the hotel but lots of different cafes around the neighborhood.. Especiqlly recommend Cooks and. books (15 min walk ). The neighborhood itself is very nice, very green and peaceful. Yes, it could be more modern, new and with restaurant, but not for this price. This is not Hilton. But if you need a stay for reasonable price, in the nice and quiet part of London I would definitely recomend this hotel. Conclusion:don't believe the reviews, try it by yourself!

When I read the reviews about this hotel, I had a rather negative attitude. But the location and price seemed great and that's why I chose it. Once there, it turned out that my fears were unfounded. The hotel is not modern, but very cozy. The room was small but very comfortable and clean with its own bathroom. I can't complain about the cleanliness. The room was cleaned every day and we received fresh towels every day. A kettle and tea and coffee making facilities are also a big plus. I had no problems with hot water or opening the window. The staff was very nice and polite. The nearest metro station, Highbury/Islington (zone 2), is a 20-minute walk away, but you can also quickly get there by bus 30. For this price, I highly recommend this hotel if you want to explore London and be close to the center.

I've stayed here before as the location is good for central Islington. The Inn is dated, carpets and furniture worn and tired looking but this is reflected in the price being affordable. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the room is always clean. The beds and pillows are comfortable and there are enough plug sockets, TV coffee making facilities etc. also rooms are ensuite which is good considering other properties at these prices often have a shared bathroom. I would stay here again

Very good location pretty central to get out and about. Staff on duty were lovely and helpful. Shout out to Roman ! The room we stayed in was ground floor and pretty modern. Was very warm but we were able to open window and had a fan available. Excellent value for money and will certainly stay here again.

Great staff, good location, nothing to complain about in the room. For the price, in the middle of london it's great. Comfortable, plenty of towels, easy check in and out. It does what it says on the tin. Having run a hostel myself for ten years, I wish I'd kept it this simple. 😅
